The Ultimate Under-Eye Filter helps to refine the delicate under-eye area by addressing volume loss in the lower lid/cheek junction, in addition to surgically treating under-eye bags.
What Can I Expect from the Procedure?
Dr. Cox will make sure you are comfortable by combining local anesthesia with oral or IV sedation. General anesthesia may also be used, in some cases. Lower blepharoplasty is performed with a hidden incision inside the lower lid. The muscle is then tightened, restoring the natural position of the lower lid by counteracting the drooping that has taken place due to the aging process. Trimming additional eyelid skin may be required for appropriate skin tightening of the lower lid. Then, total skin rejuvenation is accomplished with a combination of exfoliation (chemical or laser peel) and rejuvenating radiofrequency energy. If there is added hollowing of the lower lid and cheek, dermal fillers or autologous fat grafting is injected to restore the natural contouring.
